A little change..

.. goes a long way!! As you can see my blog has gotten a makeover.. I love that blogger now lets us change the layout without losing all our widgets!  That was a such a pain to cut and paste all the codes and what not back and forth..and now we can have tabs without all the fussy html code tweaking.. blogger I think I will stay ;-)

Anyway - here I am again after a brief blogging hiatus.. from the chatting anyway..I am happy to say that I am officially off all depression meds.. and I physically feel pretty good.. Heed my warning - PLEASE, if your doctor suggests you take Effexor - ask for an alternative!! It's one of the hardest depression meds to get off of (because of the withdrawl) and I am glad to be free of it.  There are some people that love it - but I am not one of them.  I am determined (as I have mentioned before) to go without chemical enhancements.. Now that it is pretty much out of my system, I can begin focusing on getting my exercise and diet back on track.  I want to get a regular period of meditation and prayer done at night as well.. I think the way I am going to do this is by making myself a checklist so I don't forget.  Please say a prayer for me that I can get on track.  I am certain that once I accomplish this that my depression will be under control.  Right now I am not especially sad, but more sluggish and dragging butt.

Enough of that.. on to better things.. here's what I made since my last posting:

You stay so busy I don't know where in the world you find time to blog!

Good for you on being med free! I'll definitely keep you in my prayers my sweet friend.

I do have to say, I agree about Effexor. I'm on it now and while I definitely don't need to NOT take my meds personally, if I forget one day's dose the next day I have terrible withdrawal symptoms...and that's just one day! I do have to say though that Effexor is the only medication that I have found that truly does consistently keep me balanced.

I LOVED seeing all the projects you've made recently! (And recognized one of them!) Court, you accomplish more than any human being I KNOW! IF I wore a hat, I'd say my hat is OFF to you! LOL! Glad you're off the meds! Some come with so much extra 'baggage' they do more harm than good, I believe. I also went and looked at your slide shows! Did YOU make all that Halloween stuff on that long table? FABULOUS! The kids look so adorable, too! I tried to paste & copy a picture of them in costume, but it wouldn't work. WAAAAH! Aunty Kai wants one! (Spoiled, aren't I?) Feel like there are a million things to tell & ask you, but this is too public so I'll wait for when I can email! LOVE YOU & HUGS TO ALL!

Your artwork is great, Courtney. What a fun party. I used to do that for my nieces/nephew when they were younger. They're all too old now. :(

Congrats on getting off the depression meds. I know what you mean about wanting to go chemical free. I wish you the best! :)
